14 Mar 2010Ive used pick number 1 the dunlop tortex 88 for over 20 years, and have my own signature version with the stilettos logo and my number on too lol! Theyre the best all-round pics ive found, and i NEVER use anything else,despite what you say is true. I have used some sharkfin versions of the same pick,and in .73 guage, but mostly the 88 is optimum. And ive spent years converting my many students to use the same pick as well! Using diff picks in the studio,or live only really makes a diff with acoustics, in my opinion,everything else is in the way one plays!
