Entwined (2009)

 An eclectic mix of blues, jazz, rock and funk in a well tested guitar trio setting. Influenced by the contemporary guitar masters like Scott Henderson, Mike Landau, Mike Stern and John Scofield, this trio ventures often outside safe musical territory. It is more and more common to find groups whose members, from different parts of the world and backgrounds, come together to create something other than ‘world music’ or ‘fusion’. In this case Italian born-Usa bread guitarist Gianni Chiarello is joined by a British rhythm section (Lidia Cascarino-Close on bass and Dave Mayne on drums) to create a powerful blend of music that takes elements from the American jazz and funk tradition, but also from British classic rock and blues.
