I have set-up this page specifically to share a list of free on-line guitar resources. Please feel free to add more links using the comments box below. Remember that all resources have to be totally free/open source. No spamming will be tolerated! Mike Outram:’The jewel box’

Mike Outram is a phenomenal London Based Jazz Guitarist. On his site

www.mikeoutram.com

you can listen and read all about him. I strongly

recommend downloading his ‘Jewel Box’ which is a collection of 30 guitar

lessons in PDF+mp3 format…it is totally free when you subscribe to his mailing

list (really worth doing). The link straight to the jewel box is this:

Jeremy Poparad’s site.

I discovered this site by surfing this video of a workshop held by

Adam Rogers (NY based monster guitarist!), with full transcription of his

solo:

Adam Rogers ‘Have you met miss Jones’:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaJKT9OtnwA

You will find the transcription of the whole thing on Jeremy’s site plus

loads of other transcriptions/lead-sheets of many jazz/fusion tunes.

Finger Yoga

this is a fantastic site featuring a collection of exercises

to keep your fingers in shape and avoid injuries.

Practice carefully!

If you are trying to learn alone, find some easy song you like and play. When you learn, play other song you like. Just use google to find chords and tabs, and maybe youtube for some tutorials.
